A food diary that syncs with your watch — steps and weight, automatically

Journey (journey.lavit.io) is a free AI food diary that syncs with your watch through Health Connect on Android: steps and weight from Garmin, Samsung, Fitbit, Polar, Suunto — any watch that writes to Health Connect — flow in automatically. You log meals by snapping a photo or typing in plain language, AI estimates calories and macros, and nothing is saved until you approve. The free plan includes the full diary, watch sync, and 15 AI meal estimates a month.

How it works

  1. Install the free Journey app on Android (Google Play: io.lavit.journey) and sign in with Google — used only for sign-in.
  2. Connect Health Connect and grant Journey access to steps and weight.
  3. Keep using your watch exactly as before — whatever writes its steps and weight to Health Connect feeds Journey. Garmin, Samsung, Fitbit, Polar, Suunto and more all work this way.
  4. Journey pulls steps and weight in automatically — no manual entry, no double bookkeeping. Weigh-ins land on a ruler-tape weight trend, because the trend matters, not the daily wobbles.
  5. You handle the one thing a watch can't see: meals. Snap a photo or type "toast with avocado and an egg" — AI estimates calories and macros, you edit anything, and nothing is saved until you confirm.

Questions & answers

Which watches sync with Journey?

Any watch that writes steps and weight to Health Connect on Android — Garmin, Samsung, Fitbit, Polar, Suunto and more. Journey reads the data from Health Connect, so there is no per-brand pairing inside Journey.

What data does Journey sync from my watch?

Steps and weight sync automatically via Health Connect. Meals are logged in Journey itself — by photo or plain-language chat — with AI estimating calories and macros for you to approve.

Is the watch sync free?

Yes. Watch sync is part of the free plan, together with the full food and training diary and 15 AI meal estimates per month. No card required.

Does it work with Apple Watch or on iPhone?

Automatic watch sync uses Health Connect on Android, so it needs the free Android app. On iPhone, Journey works today in the browser (Safari included) and you can log weight and meals manually; a native iOS app is not available yet.

Do I need to enter my weight by hand?

Not if your scale or watch writes weight to Health Connect — it flows into Journey automatically and feeds the weight trend. You can always enter or edit a weigh-in manually too.

Is my data sold or used for ads?

No. Journey has no ads and never sells data. Sign-in is Google only and used only for sign-in, and you can delete your account and everything in it any time, right inside the app.
